This study develops a two-step approach of a benchmarking analysis (DEA) together with a statistical method (Tobit regression). The first approach is employed to record the efficiency level of top-50 global container terminals’ performance measured in TEU's service, considering the infrastructure and equipment context of the container port terminals, over five years (2013-2017).
